IPSY – June 2015

I had subscribed to Ipsy for over a year, but had sooooo many tiny samples, I finally canceled. I went through withdrawal for about 2 months and resigned up. This is my first bag since I came back.

IPSY is $10 a month, they send you a makeup bag every month and there are quite a few variations that you may receive based off your beauty profile

This month’s theme was Swim Into Beauty

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer – .25 oz Value $8

This primer works really well. A little goes a  long way and it really helps even out coverage for Bare Minerals powder foundation

Aurora Nail Polish – Gel Effect – Value – On sale $7.99 – ColorL 4 Alarm Fire #112

I love this color nail polish. It makes me feel a little saucy. Great coverage and lasted for a few days before my work destroyed it (I told my boss he’s lucky I didn’t pay for that manicure because I was really bummed about the color coming off!)

It Cosmetics – Brow Power – Value $24.00 – Color: Universal Taupe

I really like this brow pencil, it gives me better control than powder and it isn’t too dark. I like the metal casing and the fact that both ends have caps

Mini Shadow Crayon – Value About $10 – Color: Marimoto Pink Pearl

I’m not a big crayon eye shadow fan. The packaging is cute though. The color is very subtle, a shiny, light, pinkish beige. I like it for a base

Eye Gel Pads – Two Treatments – Value $4

From the site:

Eye Gel Pads help reduce the appearance of fine lines and puffiness while hydrating the sensitive and fragile skin under the eyes. It is a perfect treatment before a night out.

  • Immediately refreshes and revitalizes fatigued eyes
  • Hydrates and replenishes the delicate skin around the eye area
  • Retinyl Palmitate helps renew and improve skin\’s resilience
  • Smoothes to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Antioxidants help the delicate eye area resist environmental stressors

What did you get in your Ipsy bag?

Other thoughts: what do you do with all your make up bags? Mine are stashed in a drawer (I actually gave a couple to my bridesmaids stuffed with goodies)
