Target Beauty Box – Honor Roll

Every so often, Target comes out with a beauty box. The price, contents and gender vary. The last one they came out with was $7. I jumped on it, paid for it, then a week or so went by and Target cancelled the box, charged me $11, then sent me a $10 electronic gift card?!  I really rather they have just canceled the order and not over charged me for a gift card I didn’t want.

I was too disgruntled and didn’t want to waste time chasing after my $11, so I left the $10 e-card in my inbox to be used at a later date. I’m glad I left it, because Target later announced that they were coming out with two beauty boxes geared towards back to school/college and would only be $5 a piece. I jumped on both and used my gift card for them.

To my amazement, they didn’t cancel and actually shipped very quickly! I don’t remember which one I received first, but this review is for the Honor Roll Box:

I loved the packaging!  The items came in a very sturdy, black cardboard box, with lime green tissue (lime green might be my favorite color) paper and a sturdy printed card detailing the items and a coupon code:

This box was jam packed with great items!

Items included were either deluxe or full sized samples

Olay White Strawberry Body Wash – 3 oz Value $1

I really like Olay body washes. They won’t break the bank, smell nice and don’t dry out my skin

NYX Butter Gloss Strawberry Parfait – FULL SIZE! Value $5

I’m not a huge lip-product fan and had just gifted my one sister-in-law with a bag full of lip products, she exclaimed that NYX Butter Gloss is her jam, so she’ll also be gifted with this!

CoverGirl Outlast All-Day Primer – FULL SIZE! Value $12

This primer alone pays for BOTH boxes, plus tax, plus a little extra. I am just about out of my Ulta green primer, so this is great!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume in Shower Treatment – 1 oz Value $2.25

I seriously need volume in my super straight, extremely thin (I think I may actually be going bald?) hair. I just dyed it bright pink (which is now more pastel) and I’m very concerned about the different shampoos I might use do to my tresses. I may give this one a shot though!

Bathery Delicate Pouf – Value $1.99

Can never have enough poufs!

Goody Ouchless Elastics (3) – Value approx $1

or hair ties! I can’t tell you how often I need a hair tie and never have one. I am putting these in every “grab-and-go bag I have

Burt’s Bees White Tea Facial Wipes (10 count) – Value $2.99

My husband and I both use facial wipes (me for my makeup, him for his day of grime), so I always like receiving more!

Conclusion: This box has an amazing value of over $26!!! You certainly can’t beat that for only $5. I’m glad I was actually able to score these this time around!
