Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription for $21 a month and you will receive 4-5 deluxe and full sized samples. I was receiving white Boxycharm mailer boxes, but now they switched to black. I think the black box gives it a little more of a classy look (just my opinion)
This month’s theme was travel and they even extended the theme to the detailed card:
I really love the vintage, travel theme for the postcard! Boxycharm revealed three spoliers this month and so I already knew this was going to be an amazing month!
The first spoiler released was:
Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette – Value $19.95
A full sized palette! I already had the first revealed palette from Birchbox. I wasn’t thrilled at first, because I didn’t think that Coastal had great pigmentation, but add a little primer and a good brush and this is a great eyeshadow! I really love the colors of this palette!
Mica Beauty Gel Eyeliner – Value $35?
Seta Eyeliner Brush – Value $16
So Susan Statement Skin Highlighter – Value $20
The Mica beauty gel liner and seta eyeliner brush were the 2nd and 3rd spoliers for this month. My last gel liner had just dried up so I was so excited to receive this liner! I am also on path of building up my brush tool box and this is a fantastic liner brush! Very crisp, clean lines!
I wasn’t thrilled about the highlighter, like many subscribers, the crayons released from the container, but I was able to put it back in and it’s all good. I use powder foundation most days so a crayon tends to wipe away all of my hard work. So as soon as I figure out how to mix this in, might be a better find for me!
NIOS Shield Leave-In Conditioner – Value $26
I think this was a great summer inclusion! I, like most people, forget to SPF my scalp and later have to pay for it, every time I brush my hair. I have super fine, thin hair, so I am curious to see what this does to my hair….
Conclusion: This box has a value of $112! That’s pretty great seeing as I only paid $21 for it! What did you think of this month’s Boxycharm?
